Windham County teens talk about being Above the Influence
 The StoryCorps on this page have been produced by the PEAK Program students of Brattleboro Area Middle School (BAMS).
They set out to ask their friends and classmates the question: "How do you stay Above the Influence"?
Jesse talks about what to do if you get bullied. Go to an adult and tell someone - don't just hold it in.
Crystal and Omei give advice on bullying. Things you say can hurt, even if people don't show it. Think about what you say before you actually say it.
Daniel gives his advice to you "Play sports and don't do drugs!"
Alyssa says that soccer and sports help her find new friends and stay away from drugs and alcohol. Alyssa is a smartie!
Ben has a tip for teens. Don't do drugs or drink alcohol!

Devin's advice is to get out and do new things because it will help you find new friends and keep you away from drugs.
Chaya says that be friends with as many people as you can be friends with because friendship and relationships are what ties us all together and makes everyone special. Right on, Chaya!
Sam says you shouldn't do drugs because it can mess you up and it can hurt the people you love. Kelsea thinks doing drugs is a waste of time when there are so many other fun things to do like dye your hair and eat rainbows :)
